The contribution of Public Services to Cohesion in Europe

The Cohesion Policy is recognised as one of the main successes of the European project. It promotes and supports the ‘overall harmonious development’ of its Member States and regions, and reduces disparities in the level of development between regions.
Providers of public services, with their objective of providing access to quality and affordable services, are supporting the overall objectives of the Cohesion Policy. This workshop and open discussion will address the key challenges faced at the moment, and highlight the way(s) forward presented by citizens.
