What is democracy to me? Exercises in Free Thought applied to everyday life

What is democracy? According to the etymology: No other than the power directly exerted by the people. Democracy is inextricably bound to empowerment of the people. But what are the concrete tools and ways of participation we utilise to be actively involved in the democratic life of the European Union? Are we actually taking enough advantage of all the opportunities we have to be protagonist of democracy instead of just being content in the role of constituents, delegating to others the defence of our rights and the pursue of our peace and happiness? The workshop will provide participants with an opportunity to share and think about their daily actions that contribute to and build our democracy.
