MEPs (Making Europe Progress): The Social Equality Challenge

How is it possible to achieve an inclusive European environment based on equal opportunities, diverse policy content and solidarity vibes? The agenda of policy-makers could broaden its input by including minority stakeholders, allowing those groups to shape their future according to their needs. Put in place preferential treatment, report on diversity and accommodate to special needs to ensure full equality and diversity for underrepresented groups in the public sector in Member States and in EU institutions; ensure equal gender representation in EU politics and encourage female participation, by having gender-alternate lists of candidates and by other means, such as mandatory reporting on gender representation.
